Mckenna is a former university varsity soccer player and aspiring mental performance coach with a passion for helping athletes unlock their full potential. In university, Mckenna was a four-time Academic All-Canadian and a student-athlete mentor where she supported first-year student-athletes with managing the demands of sport, academics, and life. She also played competitive basketball throughout high school.

Mckenna developed a deep appreciation for the mental side of performance through her personal experiences in elite sport. The transition from high school to the university level was a significant challenge, as she navigated increased competition, higher expectations, and the pressure to perform. This experience became a turning point, highlighting the powerful role that confidence, mindset, and self-belief play in performance.

In September 2026, Mckenna will begin her Master’s in Human Kinetics with a Concentration in Mental Performance Consulting at the University of Ottawa. She is committed to building a career as a mental performance coach and helping athletes develop the skills needed to perform with confidence, resilience, and consistency.
