Matt Marquardt had a rocky transition from minor midget to junior hockey, but the lessons he learned in these years helped him go from not being selected in the OHL draft, to being drafted to the NHL, putting up back to back 40 goal seasons in the QMHL, and going on to his successful 12 year pro career – which is still ongoing!
